Castle Combe, a designated conservation area and frequently voted Britain's 'Most Picturesque Village', is situated in the South Cotswolds, five miles from Chippenham and 12 miles from Bath. The Manor House, built in the 14th century is now a luxury hotel, with its own fine golf course and its lovely grounds include West Street, a row of pretty cottages of which Mead Cottage is possibly the finest. The Hotel offers concessionary green fees to Mead Cottage residents and they will also provide room service meals from their excellent Bybrook Restaurant.

The double fronted Mead Cottage's interior is elegant and comfortable and beautifully furnished in contemporary style. There is a decked, terraced garden, with table, chairs and sun loungers. Garden shed with freezer and log store.

Entrance lobby to light and airy double living room, one 'informal' side with flat screen TV/DVD player and Scandinavian wood burning stove, the other a 'formal' side with CD stereo and open fireplace. Unique dining room built in to the old ice cellar. Modern fully fitted kitchen, with fridge, oven, hob, dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave. Stairs to landing with desk, telephone and Wi-Fi access. King size bedroom with integrated bath, separate WC and mezzanine balcony dressing room. Double bedroom (can be twin). Separate bathroom with bath & walk-in power shower. Flat screen TV in each bedroom.
